WWE Impact 2011

WWE Impact 2011 series has been around for more than a few years now, and like a time worn WWE superstar, it is starting to get creaky in its old age. The core mechanics that fuel the entertaining action still set the stage for some great fights, but the perennially problematic collision detection and finicky positioning mechanics are taking their toll. The new modes and refinements in WWE Impact 2011 are more focused on setting up matches than landing gut punches, which makes the game feel more like a meddling manager than a reigning champion. Yet though the series may be getting long in the tooth, there's still enough action to satiate those with a penchant for powerbombs.

One of Smackdown vs. Raw's strengths is that it gives you the freedom to stage a huge variety of matches. 2011 offers more ways to tweak your showdowns than ever, with new locations and expanded match creation options. Whether you're setting your favorite superstar up to take on his archrival in an extreme rules match, or taking on a few friends in a Hell in a Cell diva showdown, it's fun to set the stage and then fight your way through a contest of your own devising. Furthermore, almost every match you play gets roped into the new Universe mode. This mode sets everything within the context of the WWE television schedule, including regular shows and marquee monthly events. You can play or simulate the matches that the game sets up or tweak the parameters to structure events to your liking. Matches that you play outside of Universe mode get slotted into the schedule, and the game often interjects melodramatic cutscenes and surprise events. Universe mode creates an enjoyable sense of continuity, but on the whole, it is little more than a new structure for the same familiar action.

Freedom Force vs. The 3rd Reich is a real time tactical Role playing game developed and published by Irrational Games. In this sequel to Freedom Force, the player guides a team of superheroes as they travel back in time and help overthrow Nazi Germany and its allies during World War II. It was released in early March, 2005. Freedom Force goes back in time to the battlefields of World War II to track down an evil enemy. This new chapter in the Freedom Force universe lets you play as one of six heroes from the comic book series as they battle super powered German forces. A great story and a wonderful cast of characters are the highlights of this game, which anyone with an appreciation for comic books would probably love.

The original Freedom Force succeeded against all odds when it was released three years ago. For years prior, the possibility of a superhero-themed computer role playing game was nothing more than a popular pipe dream. But Freedom Force made good on the promising concept. It delivered great tactical combat to rival most any other RPG available of the time, and it captured the style and spirit of classic silver-age comic books remarkably well. A surprisingly endearing cast of characters and an altogether excellent story rounded out a memorable, satisfying game. And now, at long last, Freedom Force has a follow up in the amazingly titled Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich. The new game is a direct continuation of its predecessor and really isn't much different in terms of the presentation or the nuts and bolts of the action. So it serves as a testament to the quality of the original that the new Freedom Force, despite being so similar to a three year old game, is just about as fresh and as fun as the first. A great story and a wonderful cast of characters are once again the highlights of this game which anyone with an appreciation for comic books would probably love.

Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich is absolutely worth playing if only for the story. Fortunately, the action itself is plenty entertaining, too, and there's lots of it. And while the game's technical aspects haven't been radically revised since the original, they've aged almost as gracefully as the comic books that inspired it. This is all great news for Freedom Force fans, whose ranks probably consist of the vast majority of people who played that game. Yet, possibly the best news of all is that the satisfying conclusion of this second Freedom Force installment suggests that there will still be more where this came from.

Time to get serious and compete in the ICC’s official tournaments. Meet the best in the world in the ICC Cricket World Cup, featuring 14 limited-overs national teams, or take part in the ICC Champions Trophy with all the One-Day International nations in a concentrated round-robin competition. The Tournament mode also offers World Tour, where you take your team on a world tour playing Test matches and One-Day Internationals across the globe. Career Player:

Create your own Career Player to represent your nation in every available mode. You can select real licensed kit manufacturers including Slazenger, Kookaburra, Duncan Fearnley. You can even set your player’s specialist skills, be it as a batsman, bowler or all-rounder, and determine if your player needs to have sun-cream applied! Through performing well, you can earn stat points to improve your player’s abilities.

Customise:

The King of Fighters officially abbreviated KOF, is a series of fighting games by SNK Playmore (formerly SNK). The series was originally developed for SNK's Neo Geo MVS arcade hardware, which served as the main platform for the series until 2004, when SNK retired the MVS in favor of the Atomiswave arcade board. Only two King of Fighters games were made on the Atomiswave platform (The King of Fighters Neowave and The King of Fighters XI) before SNK decided to discontinue using the platform for the series. The current arcade hardware for the series is the Taito Type X2, with its first usage coming with the release of The King of Fighters XII. Ports of the arcade games and original The King of Fighters games have been released for several video games consoles.The first game in the series,The King of Fighters was released by SNK on August 25, 1994. The game featured characters from SNK's previous fighting game series Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting, as well as original characters (including characters from older games such as Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldier, adapted for a versus fighting game). The success of the game led SNK to release yearly installments of the series and numbered the games for the year they were released. The King of Fighters 95 was released on July 25, 1995, with several ports being released the next year. In addition to adding new characters, this game also began the first story arc of the series titled The Orochi Saga. KOF 95 was also the first game in the series that allowed the players to create their own team of three members, out of any character in the game. The King of Fighters 96, released on July 30, 1996, establishes the second part of The Orochi Saga and replaced the character sprites from the previous two years with newly drawn ones, improving the gameplay of the series as well. Depending on the playable characters in a team, an exclusive ending will be played. The King of Fighters 97, released on July 28, 1997, concluded The Orochi Saga story arc. The King of Fighters 98 was released on July 23, 1998, and unlike the previous games of the series, it did not feature a story. Instead, the game was promoted as a Dream Match game that allowed players to choose most of the characters available from the previous titles, including ones that were supposedly dead. SNK refitted the Dreamcast version and renamed it The King of Fighters: Dream Match 1999 with an extended cel animated introduction and 3D backgrounds.n July 22, 1999, The King of Fighters 99 was released, which introduced a new story arc known as The NESTS Chronicles. The game introduces several new characters into the series, as well as the rule of a fourth member being added to each team and that a new tactic is introduced in this game as well. The tactic would be that a specific person from a team would be an assistant called a Strike and that this person would be able to aid the team for a few seconds in combat. The Dreamcast version was titled The King of Fighters: Evolution, with several improvements in the game such as new strikers and better animation. The King of Fighters 2000 was released on July 26, 2000, and is the second part of The NESTS Chronicles.
