Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Sands of Time places players in control of a character known only as The Prince, son of King Sharaman of Persia. While on a journey to a neighboring kingdom, the Prince unknowingly releases the cursed Prince of Persia Sands The of Time. The rest of the game pits the player against sands demons - former humans transformed by the Sands - and an even deadlier environment.

The premise is used to divide the game into two segments: combat and plat forming. Most of the player's time is spent utilizing the Prince's vast array of acrobatic techniques to navigate the palace. These plat forming segments are broken up by combat against the palace's transformed denizens. In combat, the Prince's acrobatic strengths are augmented by his formidable swordsmanship. Both segments often require the aid of the Dagger of time, a magical relic that can manipulate time itself and undo mistakes made by the player.321

To navigate the palace, the Prince must utilize every skill in his acrobatic arsenal: from simple running and jumping to running along walls, dodging hazards, and swinging from poles. The environment can be as dangerous as any sand demon; the palace is littered with spikes, saws, and blades.        Accompanying the levels are light puzzle elements, forcing the Prince to pull switches, manipulate mirrors, and search for hidden pathways. Engaging the enemy with acrobatics Breaking up the plat forming and puzzle elements are faster-paced combat segments. Again, the Prince must use his acrobatic abilities to best his opponents by leaping, rolling, and outmaneuvering his assailants. Defeating the sand demons requires the use of both sword and dagger. The sword is used to force enemies to the ground, which if left unattended will rise to fight again. Only by using the magical Dagger of Time can the Prince strike a finishing blow that will banish the sand demon and absorb the cursed sands.

During both plat forming and combat, the player will often make mistakes and require assistance. Help comes in the form of the Dagger of Time's magical abilities, beginning with the ability to rewind time and undo mistakes (and unfortunate deaths). Through the course of the game, new dagger techniques are unlocked: the ability to slow time and freeze enemies. Needless to say, the dagger is often critical to the success of the player. Angry Birds Rio is the third puzzle video game in the Angry Birds series. Developed by Rovio Entertainment. Based on the wildly successful Angry Birds. The main targets are the pins, structure that falls on  the pig, defeating it. Small sized pigs are weak and easily defeated in one or two shots, while bigger pigs can sustain more damage

IGI 2 Covert Strike

 IGI 2 Some years ago I reviewed a game called Project IGI: I'm Going In. Of all the things I've ever written, from high school essays to making my living as a writer, that review is a favorite of mine because I was just so damned witty when I mocked the game's title. I noted that Citizen Kane would not have been nearly as popular had it been called Dude, Where's My Sled? and pointed out that no matter how good or bad a game is, you're doomed without a quality title. Project IGI: I'm Going In is an example of a bad title.

It also had plenty of other problems, including a dumb-as-deadwood AI, no in-mission saves, and a graphic engine that looked like it had grown a coat of fur. I ridiculed and I lambasted. Just about everyone else in the gaming press felt the same way—Project IGI definitely won the "Nice Try" award but was too deeply flawed to be worthy of serious attention.

Yet, years later, I still play the game. I still play the game. On and off, yes; usually when I've been drinking, yes; but Project IGI: I'm Going In has galled me for years because despite the fact that it is desperately flawed, worthy of a 4 out of 10 at best, it has a certain indefinable charm that has kept me coming back to it over and over again. It is without question the only example of a "bad" game that I play and replay.

So you can imagine my shame/excitement when Innerloop Studios announced IGI 2: Covert Strike. They apparently sensed my derision and retooled the I.G.I. acronym to mean not I'm Going In but Institute for Geotactical Intelligence, a quasi-clandestine international good-doers group. Once again you play the role of David Llewelyn Jones, a former member of the British Special Air Service turned mercenary. In a series of games best described as a humorless No One Lives Forever, Jones and the rest of the IGI team trot the globe, righting wrongs and making the world safe for normal taxpayers.

The original Project IGI told the story of a nuclear warhead stolen by Russian terrorists. Jones was tasked with first finding and then securing the stolen nuke before the bad guys could flatten a city with it. Helping along the way was Major Rebecca Anya, your voluptuous blonde controller who offered mission briefings, occasional witticisms, and moral support, all while sitting behind a computer ten thousand miles away dressed in a completely unmilitary spray-on T-shirt and jeans. muhammadasadmughal.blogspot.com For those few who finished that insanely difficult and often ridiculously frustrating game, one final disappointment awaited: after you secured the nuke, Anya, having joined you physically a few missions earlier, comes bouncing in to defuse it. Once she finishes, you're taken without warning back to the Main Menu. There was no closure in a game that had made a pretty serious effort to be a story-driven FPS.

Meanwhile, IGI 2: Covert Strike deals largely with betrayal within the IGI ranks and the theft of some valuable computer technology that's apparently immune to damage from the electromagnetic pulse released by a nuclear detonation.

Yawn.

Compared to Project IGI's race-against-time broken arrow franticity, the mystery terrorists led by Ekk, a seriously insane former KGB wetgirl, and the elusive, irritatingly indispensable information possessed by chunky arms dealer Jach Priboi, IGI 2: Covert Strike tells a frankly more obvious and less gripping story. Even the traitorous leanings of some characters don't raise many hackles, as they're new characters in which we have no preexisting emotional stake.

Which is not to say the game is bad. It's a vast improvement over the original in nearly every single measurable way; however, it remains to be seen if this sequel holds me in the same mysterious thrall that the original does.

Need for Speed 2 Special Edition

Need for Speed II Special Edition

Need for Speed II allows players to race exotic cars, either against computer-controlled opponents or human opponents via a LAN, modem or serial connection. There are three distinct gameplay modes:

• Single Race is largely carried over from the previous game, in which a player simply chooses a car and a course and completes a single race. The player can customize both the number and type of opponents as well as the number of laps to be completed.
• Tournament is also carried over from The Need for Speed, in which the player must complete a series of races successfully to unlock a bonus car.muhammadasadmughal.blogspot.com Knockout is a new type of tournament to the series. It consists of a series of 2-lap races with 8 opponents; the last-place finisher at the end of each race is eliminated from the competition. Successfully completing an entire Knockout (being the last surviving racer) unlocks a bonus track.

The cars can be raced on seven different courses. Unlike The Need for Speed, which featured a mix of both point-to-point and circuit courses, Need for Speed II features circuit courses only. Each track's scenery is inspired by real-life locations around the world:

• North Country (Northern Europe, Germany)
• Outback (Australia)
• Pacific Spirit (Canada)
• Proving Grounds (Norway)
• Monolithic Studios (Hollywood, California) (Not available at the start of the game; becomes unlocked upon winning a Knockout series)

Unlike the previous game's tracks, which were realistically-rendered generic locales, Need for Speed II's tracks mix real-world landmarks with elements of fantasy, in a somewhat similar fashion to the Cruis'n series of arcade games. For example, the Outback course has the player racing from the Sydneymuhammadasadmughal.blogspot.com Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House to the rural Australian Outback and back again in a matter of minutes.

Need for Speed II also introduced several new elements to the game. For the first time, players could customize the color of each car; additionally, a basic tuner allowed players to adjust each car's performance elements, including gear ratios, tires, and spoilers. Unlike The Need for Speed, however, Need for Speed II did not feature any police chases.

Bejeweled 2 Deluxe is to swap one gem with an adjacent one to form a chain of three or more gems of the same color. When such a chain is created, the gems disappear, causing randomly generated gems to fall from the top to take the matched gems' place. Sometimes, falling gems automatically line up, causing chain reactions. This is called a cascade. There are several different modes of gameplay available.

Classic

The player tries to match three to five of the same color gems together either horizontally or vertically. Every swap gives you score, which is stated at the bottom of the page in the score bar. A normal swap is three gems. Once swapped, three new gems come in. A match of four gems creates a power gem. Power gems explode gems so more score is added to the score bar. A match of five gems creates a hyper cube. When swapped, a hyper cube destroys any of the gems of the same color gem it was swapped with.

Action

Not much different from Classic mode, yet in Classic, the score bar is empty at the start. In Action mode, the score bar starts halfway full and slowly begins to retract. As you score, the score bar will get longer. Score is worth more on the score bar since you're timed. The game is over in both Classic andmuhammadasadmughal.blogspot.com Action modes when you're out of moves (no more gems can be swapped). If you run out of time, the game is over.

The record muhammadasadmughal.blogspot.com in action game mode was set on the 12 February 2011 by Andrey Krupenin from Latvia. He played Bejeweled 2 for about 5 months on the iPhone 4 and set a World Record of 2,138,696,650 points (which is very close to 2^31)

Puzzle

Puzzle Mode is made up of several different scenarios. Each scenario can be solved by clearing the level of gems by using a certain combination of moves. There are also several unique gems, including Bombs and Rocks.

Endless

Endless is an untimed and never ending version of Bejeweled 2. The player can make moves at whatever pace they wish, without the worry of running out of moves. The scores for various gem combinations stay constant, regardless of the level. This game is intended to be relaxing or for beginners.

At game level 281, endless offers up an additional new game called "Finity." Finity is not available on the iOS version of the game. There is also a back door to unlock the Finity mode, which simply involves using the rename menu item to temporarily changing your user name, that works with both the Windows and Windows Mobile version.

The House of the Dead

The House of the Dead

The House of the Dead is a rail shooter light gun game. Players use a light gun (or mouse, in the PC version) to aim and shoot at approaching enemies. The characters' pistols use magazines which hold 6 rounds; players reload by shooting away from the screen. A set of torches next to the magazine of each player represents remaining health. When a player sustains damage or shoots a civilian, one of their torches is removed. The player dies when all torches are lost. First-aid packs are available throughout the game which restore one torch. These are found either in the possession of civilians whom the player has rescued or inside breakable objects. Similarly, there are also special items located in breakable objects that will grant a bonus to whoever shoots it.

Throughout the course of the game, players are faced with numerous situations in which their action (or inaction) will have an effect on the direction of gameplay. This is exemplified in the opening stage of the game when a civilian is about to be thrown from the bridge to his death. If the player saves the civilian, they will enter the house directly through the front door; however, if the player fails to rescue the civilian, the character is redirected to an underground route through the sewers. If the player rescues all civilians, a secret room full of lives and bonuses is revealed toward the end of the game.

On December 18, 1998, Agent Thomas Rogan receives a distressing, short phone-call from his fiancé, Sophie Richards at the Curien Mansion, the home and laboratory of Dr. Roy Curien, a renowned biochemist and geneticist. Together with his partner Agent G, they arrive on the scene at the Curien Mansion, amidst a series of ominous occurrences and disappearances at the mansion, to immediately discover the estate overrun with hellish creations. A mortally wounded man gives them a small field journal showing information of all of Curien's deadly creations and their weak points. It is used every time the player(s) are confronted by a boss.

Curien was obsessed with discovering the nature of life and death, supported by the DBR Corporation and its own team of scientists. However, Curien's relentless pursuit of this goal led him to grow insane, with his behavior growing more erratic and the nature of his experiments beginning to take a gruesome turn. Curien's plan for his research ultimately resulted in the release of his experimental subjects into the world. Wasting no time, they storm inside the mansion in order to find and save Sophie, where they witness first-hand the terror unleashed by Curien's zombies and abominations.

When Rogan and "G" arrive at the mansion, they find Sophie, but is just as soon captured by a gargoyle-bat like abomination called the Hangedman, who steals away to the mansion. They find her again in an empty room, but she is knocked against a wall by Chariot, a gray armored supersoldier carrying a blood stained halberd. Rogan and "G" defeat Chariot, then they tend to Sophie, who seemingly dies. Rogan, in a fit of rage, goes off to avenge his fiancé by seeking out Hangedman. They find him, where he intends to stop them at an old balcony. He proves himself formidable, but after enough wounds, he succumbs to his wounds and falls to his death. After Hangedman is defeated, Rogan and "G" meet Curien who escapes and releases a spider-crab like thing named Hermit. They defeat the creature and continue on.

Upon confronting Curien a second time, the AMS agents are to encounter his masterpiece, The Magician, a humanoid demon-esque creature, which possesses a mastery of fire. After Curien releases muhammadasadmughal.blogspot.com the creature from its incubation chamber, the Magician reveals itself to be self-aware, refusing to serve any master and Dr. Curien is killed by his creation. To prevent the Magician from escaping the mansion and destroying the world, Rogan and 'G' confront the creature in one final battle. They succeed in destroying Curien's monster and are then given one last, chilling warning from the Magician.

The Magician explodes. Rogan and 'G' leave the mansion, taking one last look at it from the outside.

There are, however, alternate endings that the player can achieve upon completing the game. One ending, in which the camera pans to the foyer one last time; the doors open, revealing Sophie to be alive, running towards the camera saying "Thank you!", another shows Sophie has now become one of the undead—the last corpse remaining, all depending on the player's final score and the number of continues used.
